Sin City pt1

The visit to Sin City, aka Amsterdam went better than I expected. We actually found a parking spot close to the Club (which was dangerously close to a gay porn cinema), and Raymster gave us a good interview… Apparently. Since I don’t speak a word of Dutch, I had to trust Goran’s opinion again.
I was kinda disappointed with the show, since the turnout wasn’t all that, but Raymster killed it.

Today we did some tourist activities in Rotterdam. Although we were late for the shopping (damn Aydin took forever to come out of the house), we managed to make it to the post office and buy some postcards, so, mom, you can expect a postcard really soon.
Right now we’re in the process of making dinner, and we’re gonna have Winne, a rapper for Amsterdam, over at Goran’s house for an interview. Then it’s gonna be Heineken and chillin’ for the rest of the night.
Tomorrow is our day off, and we’re gonna do Sin City by day. Who knows, maybe something exciting happens!

Peace!

Good evening ladies and genitals, and welcome to the second post of Dandelions European Tour – blog. As you might know we set of for the Netherlands on Friday evening and we arrived in Rotterdam Saturday morning. The journey went kinda smoothly, apart from the three times we got lost. Guess who drove most of the way! I actually managed to get 2 X 45 minutes of sleep while Ida was driving, so I’m very proud of myself.

For those of you that might think that this is a fun road trip, think again! We actually do some work here. Yesterday we met up with the mighty Oppgezwolle, and they gave us some of the best footage so far. The interview went great, I couldn’t tell, because I asked the questions in English, and the guys answered in Dutch. Our host/guide/translator/friend Goran assured me the we got some kickass material. After the interview, me Stick and Rico from Opgezwolle discussed underrated rappers. They say Keith Murray, and I agree, but I forgot to mention Sean Price! Sean P should be a damn millionaire!

Then there was the show. MAAAN! That was like the single livest shit I’ve seen in years. The crowd was BUCK-wild, the music was bangin’ and the sweat was dripping off the walls and my balls! Did I mention that it was hot ass hell? And loud? Poor Aydin stood by the speakers on stage almost for the entire show without earplugs. After hearing yesterdays show suddenly the Swedish 100 dB limit is starting to make sense. But who cares, it was live as hell, everybody had a blast, and the footage we got was worth Aydin’s tinnitus.

After the show we interviewed the Dutch up and comer Typhoon, and filmed how Zwolle-crew thrashed the loge.

Today we’re heading for Amsterdam for an interview with Reimster, and maybe a stroll in the Red Light District. Now, it’s time for breakfast!

PEACE!

The start of things to come

Well we're currentley doing Malmö. For you that don't know shit about Malmö: this is where the former member of Tha Alkoholiks, J-Ro, resides since his exile from LA. I honestley wonder why.
Right now I'm sitting at some bizarre gaming-joint, while the rest of the crew is roaming the streets and filming what we professional filmmakers call "coverage".
The project: So far so good. I've done the miracle of dirving 300 kilometers (get used to the metric system bitches) on 3 hours of sleep. Again. It feels pretty unfair to have only 2 drivers (well one and a half, Ida is a womanoid after all, and we all know that they drive poorley at best) in a 5 person outfit. But I hope that the journey will give me something in return for the lost nerves and the premature aging that I'm about to experience.
Later today we'll be filming with the oh-so-nice Medina-fellas, Alibi and Sam-E. The last time they honoured me with letting me hear parts of their forthcoming album. And honest to God, if they don't SMASH the Swedish hiphop-scene this time around, then the Swedish hip hop scene doesn't deserve to exist! "7 dagar" is gonna anihilate anything in it's path, so prepare your eardums for a banging unlike anything you've ever heard of. Yadig?!
I really need to get some sleep, since we're supposed to be in Rotterdam tomorrow. I still don't know when Vedran Tarantino is gonna be here, but i certainley hope he doesn't take forever, cuz it's gonna be a long, hard drive.
But i don't fear, i got Nas and Ghostface bangin in my ear. Just a cup of coffee to top that off, then you can place me behind the wheel and watch me go.
The next time I write is probabley gonna be from the Netherlands. Until then feel fre to holla at ya goddamn boy in the comment section.

Peace!
